GET TO KNOW DR. COLKMIRE
Passion for excellence, commitment to his patients, and attention to detail are some of the qualities that characterize Dr. Joshua Colkmire, both in his approach to dental work and to life in general. You’ll notice the difference as soon as you come for your first visit.
Dr. Colkmire’s dental degree comes from NYU College of Dentistry, and he also holds bachelor’s degrees from Lee University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a part of the renowned Seattle Study Club, a vibrant international network of dentists who meet to share knowledge about how to provide excellent care to each and every patient who comes into their practice. This club is essentially a “university without walls” that helps Dr. Colkmire to ensure that his practice never stagnates.
While most dentists get too busy with their practice to invest in additional schooling, Dr. Colkmire has somehow found the bandwidth to take extensive post-graduate courses, specifically selecting courses focusing on aesthetic dentistry (so that you look your best), restorative dentistry (so that you get the highest-quality repair for your teeth), and implants (so that you don’t have to struggle with slipping dentures). All of this says something about Dr. Colkmire: He loves learning! That benefits you as a patient because your dentist is not someone who will get stuck in a rut or be resistant to change.
